The task to design the service areas (stairscase, lift, corridors, terrace etc.) and refurbishment of this tight 4 storied commercial was done with regards to few specific and limited material palette.

Perforated screen with filtered light and reflections – This theme was spread across the project scope. Long narrow passages are lined with white painted metal sheets on ceiling and adjoining wall. Opposite wall is covered with black mirror to visually complete the pattern and cast symmetry in its reflection.  Elsewhere the backlit perforated screen spreads the light and hazes the glare.

This play of light completes the user experience and aids in increasing the visual volume inside the building.
